Q. What does AmeriCare ADHC do?
       A. We provide Adult Day Healthcare and Enhanced Care Management services between the hours of 8:00AM to 3:30PM, with our administrative team being available from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Q. Does Insurance pay for AmeriCare Services?
    A. For those persons who are eligible, program costs can be 100% covered by:

• Community Health Group Medi-Cal HMO

• Kaiser Permanente Medi-Cal HMO

• Molina Healthcare Medi-Cal HMO

• Blue Shield Promise Medi-Cal HMO

• Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) - Gary and Mary West PACE, St. Paul's PACE

• San Diego Regional Center

• U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA Insurance)

• Affordable Private Pay

• Long-Term Care Insurance

• Q. Where is AmeriCare ADHC located?
      A. Our address is 340 Rancheros Drive, Suite 196, San Marcos, CA 92069. We are by the Twin Oaks Valley Rd. Exit on the 78 Freeway, across from the TrueCare building. View a map HERE.

Q. What kind of transportation arrangements do I need to make?
    A. If transportation is needed, AmeriCare and NCTD Lift Paratransit Access, depending on location, can provide transportation to and from the center. Transportation is covered through the insurances listed above or available at an additional cost for private pay.

Q. I don’t know if my mother/father will be comfortable at the center with all new people, what should I do?
    A.  Please contact AmeriCare to schedule a tour of the center and a one time complimentary visit day, where family members are encouraged to attend with their loved ones.

Q. My parents do not speak English – will he or she be comfortable at AmeriCare ADHC?
    A. We have staff members that speak the following languages: English, Spanish, Tagalog, Russian, Korean, Japanese, and Farsi. For any other languages, we have access to interpreter/translator services as needed.
