AmeriCare Adult Day Health Care is providing services in a new way

TAS (Temporary Alternative Services) during COVID-19

Things may have changed in the time of COVID-19 but at AmeriCare we are dedicated to keeping our participants happy, active and safe at home during these times. We've implemented TAS (Temporary Alternative Services) which has allowed us to keep serving our participants and provide the care they so need. 

TAS Services

  • Prepared meal deliveries (breakfast, lunch and a snack) or groceries

  • Essential supply deliveries*: Sanitizers, face masks, soaps, and other hygiene items to help stay healthy

  • Activity packets: puzzles, crossword books, coloring books, arts & crafts items

  • Case Management provided by Social Workers: scheduling medical appointments, scheduling transportation, ordering assistive devices, ordering incontinence supplies, ordering medications, helping with medical insurance lapse and more, mental health counseling (both 1:1 and group therapy sessions)

  • Health screenings provided by Nurses 

  • Assistance with urgent needs

  • Physical/Occupational Therapy consultations 

  • Social calls, Zoom Bingo Games

  • Caregiver support

All services above are available for eligible individuals who have 

Medi-Cal insurance (Molina, Health Net, Kaiser Permanente, Blue Shield, Aetna) at no COST!
